Imagine living and working in Perth in 2050. What will it feel like? What could it look like?
We invite you to join us at the Future Ready Forum: Vision 2050 on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 for the launch of the Perth 2050 report. This research initiative, led by Committee for Perth and Scitech, aims to present a clear, evidence-based vision on how the Perth region can adapt to global trends and innovations to thrive in 2050 and beyond.
This crucial report, authored by renowned futurist Dr Ben Hamer, applies foresight methodologies and futures thinking, underscoring the importance of planning today so Perth is ready for the opportunities and challenges 2050 will bring, such as a population of 3.5 million.
Committee for Perth’s Future Ready Forums explore tomorrow’s opportunities today. Featuring future-focused leaders, the events bring together members and special guests to make connections, share insights and discuss important issues.
This report marks the start of the conversation about the Perth region’s future. As Dr Hamer says, “If we don’t plan for the future now, we risk inheriting a future designed for someone else.”
We look forward to seeing you there.
