We consider the Committee for Perth a fundamental platform for: raising the City of Joondalup’s business profile and economic initiatives with key business and Government decision-makers; demonstrating successful and highly visible advocacy and lobbying campaigns for its members particularly in respect of the State Government; managing events with high profile speakers that provide early or more detailed briefings on issues, projects or regulations that may impact Perth or the City of Joondalup; receiving regular communications on economic development trends and initiatives that impact the greater Perth metropolitan region; nominating issues for the consideration of members that may trigger a greater degree of research attention than would otherwise be the case; and, actively participating in research and advocacy projects that are relevant to the City of Joondalup.
