Emma-Jane Morcombe
Emma-Jane leads Committee for Perth’s media and stakeholder relations, working closely with local and national media to promote the organisation and advocate on key issues, as well as engaging with members and other key stakeholders. EJ has more than two decades experience as both a journalist and communications professional in Perth, having most recently been media adviser to an independent Federal MP.
EJ is a Perth girl through and through – having lived here for most of her life. While she thinks the river, the beaches and the city’s stunning night skyline are pretty impressive, EJ reckons Perth’s hidden gem is the Hills (although they do stand out quite clearly!), with their pristine bush, fresh air, and gourmet offerings. Her favourite thing to do is to go bushwalking in Jorgensen Park, with her trusty black and tan kelpie called Saint!
