With local and international experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs across government, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors, Karen is known for her ability to distil complex ideas into compelling narratives that inspire action and drive collaboration. Her work has supported high-profile projects and initiatives that shape Western Australia’s future, and she is passionate about creating meaningful connections between people, policy, and place.
When she’s not championing Perth’s progress, you’ll find Karen elbows-deep in clay at the pottery wheel, tinkering on the piano, or spending time with her family – who are surprisingly supportive of her less-than-perfect ceramic masterpieces.
