Meeting current and future workforce needs is one of the biggest challenges facing many WA businesses. The urgency of dealing with the skills crisis and preparing the workforce for the future cannot be underestimated, hence it is a race for industry, education providers and governments. Committee for Perth tackled this issue in its 2021-2022 major research project Race to the Top.
The report delivers six key findings and makes 14 recommendations which can be undertaken from 2022 through to 2024 to address what is needed for WA’s economic and social prosperity.
