Liveability in Western Australia: 2025 Australian Liveability Census

How liveable is Western Australia, and how do our communities compare with the rest of the country?

Join us online on Tuesday, 4 November, for Liveability in Western Australia, presented in partnership with Place Score and the City of Cockburn. This special online event explores the results of Place Score’s 2025 Australian Liveability Census, the nation’s most comprehensive snapshot of what Australians value most about where they live.

With more than 27,000 voices contributing to this landmark dataset, the Census provides powerful insights into what’s working, what’s missing, and what matters most to residents.

Place Score Founder and CEO Kylie Legge, City of Cockburn Strategic Business Analyst Liz Lloyd and our very own Committee for Perth CEO Paula Rogers will present and reflect on findings from the national State of Place report, revealing how Western Australia’s performance stacks up against the eastern states and highlighting where our communities lead, and where there are opportunities for improvement.

This event is designed for leaders and community members interested in planning, policy, and place makers who are shaping the future of our cities and regions. How liveable is your corner of Perth? Join us on 4 November to find out more.
