Judith Barker ASM

Judith Barker ASM was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (Western Australia) (RFDS) in October 2022, returning to Perth to lead this iconic organisation. She is responsible for the sustainability and performance of RFDS, which has provided trusted aeromedical and primary health services to Western Australians for nearly a century.

Judith has over 20 years’ experience as an executive and non-executive director in health and human services. She has led complex organisations across ambulance, primary health, emergency retrieval, and the not-for-profit sector in both metropolitan and remote contexts. She holds an MBA and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Her governance expertise spans advisory boards, statutory bodies, and NFP boards. As a Non-Executive Director, she has overseen major government ICT projects, contributing to risk, assurance, and governance processes with a focus on service continuity, integration, and accountability.

Judith was elected as a Director of Committee for Perth in November 2025 for a three-year term.
