Following our AGM, Committee for Perth has announced that Paula Rogers will resign as Chief Executive Officer just before end December 2025.
Since joining Committee for Perth in January 2023, Paula has led the organisation through a period of remarkable growth and renewal. Under her leadership, membership has reached record levels with 134 member organisations and the Committee has delivered landmark initiatives including the recent Perth 2050 Report and 2050 Summit.
Reflecting on her time as CEO, Ms Rogers said leading Committee for Perth and working alongside a passionate team who care deeply about Perth’s future had been a privilege.
“Committee for Perth has never been stronger – thriving, ambitious, and united in purpose,” she said. “The organisation is ready for its next chapter, and I am excited to continue cheering on Perth and the Committee while embracing new opportunities and enjoying time with my new grandchild and family.”
Chair Tony Joyner said Paula leaves behind an enduring legacy and thanked her for her outstanding leadership.
“Paula has taken the Committee for Perth from strength to strength, bringing people and business together around an ambitious shared vision for Perth’s future,” he said. ‘’While she will be sorely missed, she leaves the organisation in an exceptional position as it continues to advocate to make Perth the best region it can be.”
Mr Joyner, who informed the Board earlier this year of his intention to step down as Chair, will remain until the new Chair is appointed in 2026. Tony will oversee the CEO recruitment process and support the Board transition in the months ahead.
