We are pleased to present Committee for Perth’s second Executive Women’s Leadership Forum for 2025, taking place on Thursday, 15 May.

Join fellow members from our network for an engaging conversation with Rebecca Tomkinson, CEO of The Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA, the state’s leading advocate for the resources sector.

Rebecca will share personal insights from her life and remarkable career journey, which began in regional WA and led to leadership roles, including CEO of the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA. In 2022, she made history as the first female CEO of CME WA in its 122-year existence.

With a distinguished board portfolio, including Infrastructure WA, and chairing the Government’s Future Health Research and Innovation Fund Advisory Council, she brings a wealth of experience and insights to the conversation.

Describing herself as a country kid at heart with a passion for innovation and economic development, Rebecca will discuss the successes and challenges that have shaped her leadership path.

The Executive Women’s Leadership Forum is a community of executive level, senior and future-leading women in Committee for Perth’s membership, who meet throughout the year to hear from inspiring leaders about their career and life journey.

Rebecca Tomkinson

Rebecca Tomkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME), the peak resources sector representative body in Western Australia. 

Immediately prior to joining the CME Rebecca was the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Flying Doctor Service in WA. In her early career Rebecca worked in local, state and federal government before transitioning to executive roles in the corporate and community benefit sectors. 

Raised in regional WA, Rebecca is deeply committed to the social and economic development of the state and the promotion of its unique and critical role nationally and globally. Rebecca is a current board member of Infrastructure WA, Crown Perth, the Perth USAsia Centre and the AROSE International Space Council (AISC). She is also Chair of the Government’s Future Health Research and Innovation Fund Advisory Council.
