Patrick Gorman MP

Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister

Patrick Gorman believes in a stronger, fairer future for Perth, Western Australia and Australia.

Patrick and his wife Jess are raising their children Leo and Ruby in North Perth.

Patrick has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Social Science from Curtin University.

Prior to Parliament, Patrick was Principal Adviser to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

As State Secretary of WA Labor, Patrick led Labor’s 2017 Election campaign, electing Premier Mark McGowan in a record-breaking result.

Since Patrick’s election to Parliament, he has been a strong voice for Western Australia and a strong voice for Australia’s national interest.

In 2022, Patrick was appointed as Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, working to bring the country together and build a better future for Australia.
