Ashley is a trailblazer on a mission to turn the dial on gender equity in Western Australia. She’s the CEO of CEOs for Gender Equity and is also working on a PhD project aimed at increasing female inclusion and diversity in the Western Australian mining industry.

Data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency shows that mining is one of Australia’s least gender-diverse sector, with women making up only 20 per cent of its workforce in 2022.

Ashley will share her insights on the pathways for women aiming for leadership roles, and her own personal experience in balancing life, study, career and becoming a gender equity champion.

The Executive Women’s Leadership Forum is a community of executive level, senior and future-leading women in Committee for Perth’s membership, who meet throughout the year to hear from inspiring leaders about their career and life journey.

Ashley leads CEOs for Gender Equity, a for-purpose organisation which seeks to accelerate gender equity by inspiring and supporting CEOs to take action. Ashley is also working on a PhD project which will increase female inclusion and diversity in the Western Australian mining industry.
