Join us for our Executive Women’s Leadership Forum on Tuesday, 17 November, with Judith Barker ASM, CEO of the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Australia.
Judith leads one of Western Australia’s most iconic and trusted organisations, delivering life-saving aeromedical and primary healthcare services across some of the most remote parts of the State. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Committee for Perth and Adjunct Professor at Charles Darwin University.
With more than 30 years’ experience across health, emergency services and the not-for-profit sector, Judith’s career has taken her from frontline paramedicine to senior executive leadership. Before joining RFDS WA in 2022, she was CEO of St John Ambulance Northern Territory and held operational and leadership roles with ambulance services in South Australia and Western Australia.
Throughout her career, Judith has led in complex, high-pressure environments where strong decision-making, trust and resilience are critical. As CEO of RFDS WA, she is responsible for the sustainability and success of an organisation that has been serving Western Australians for nearly a century, while ensuring it continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of rural and remote communities.
At this forum, Judith will share reflections on her journey from the frontline to the executive table, the experiences that have shaped her approach to leadership, and the lessons she has learned leading people and organisations through complexity and change.
The Executive Women’s Leadership Forum brings together executive, senior and emerging women leaders from across Committee for Perth’s membership to hear candid insights from inspiring leaders about their career and life journeys.
