Perth Film Studios Tour

Perth Film Studios has long been an aspirational project for Western Australia, and with the facility now open, it marks an exciting new chapter for the state’s creative and screen industries. Committee for Perth is pleased to host a Member Spotlight Experience: Behind the Scenes with Perth Film Studios on Monday, 4 May 2026, offering our valued members the rare opportunity to tour this remarkable new facility.

Located in Malaga, just 30 minutes from the CBD, Perth Film Studios is purpose-built to support local and international film, television and digital productions. The studio represents a major step forward for Western Australia’s creative economy, global screen ambitions and economic diversification strategy.

This exclusive afternoon will include a guided tour of the studios and the chance to hear from key leaders involved in bringing the project to life, including Tom Avison, CEO, Perth Film Studios and Rikki Lea Bestall, CEO, Screenwest. Alongside other key contributors, they will share insights into the journey from bold vision to delivery, the role this facility will play in attracting global productions, and what it means for Western Australia’s growing screen industry.
