Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting Sophie Howe, the first Future Generations Commissioner for Wales. Her inspiring keynote left a lasting impact, sparking future-focused conversation across our member and the Perth business community.
We are thrilled to welcome her back to Perth on Thursday, 17 April 2025 at our Future Ready Forum: Planning for Future Generations.
As a Thinker in Residence with member Forrest Research Foundation, Sophie is a passionate advocate for future generations. She serves as a Futures and Wellbeing Adviser to governments, NGOs, and corporations worldwide and is the first Future Generations Commissioner for Wales. In this exclusive Future Ready Forum, Sophie will explore the next steps in setting a long term vision for Perth and what government, business and communities can do to create a city fit for future generations.
Is Perth set for the long term? How can Perth business leaders and community ensure today’s decisions benefit generations to come? How do we empower young voices in decision-making?
Join us as we explore these critical questions and learn from one of the world’s most influential future thinkers about the opportunities and possibilities for Perth.
Committee for Perth’s Future Ready Forums explore tomorrow’s opportunities. Featuring future-focused leaders, the events bring together members and special guests to make connections, share insights and discuss important issues.
