Jason has an impressive leadership track record, having served as CEO of The Perth Mint, Synergy and Verve Energy, before being appointed CEO of Perth Airport in 2023.
Perth Airport is a cornerstone of Western Australia’s economic future growth. Following the announcement of a transformational $5 billion investment program in May last year, Jason will share his insights on the airport’s next wave of development. This includes the creation of a unified ‘one airport’ precinct designed to create a world-class visitor experience, support airline partners and drive economic benefits for WA.
Held in the exquisite dining hall at heritage-listed Lamont’s Bishops House, The Chair’s 20 is a forum where an exclusive group of leaders from Committee for Perth’s Gold and Silver member organisations come together to discuss issues that are critical to Perth’s future.

Jason commenced as CEO of Perth Airport in November 2023 and prior to this was the CEO of Gold Corporation, owner of The Perth Mint, from April 2022 and CEO of electricity generator and retailer Synergy from 2014 – 2022.
He is a graduate of Curtin University of Technology (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Graduate Diploma of Business) and Harvard Business School (Executive Education – Program for Leadership Development).
