Committee for Perth is delighted to announce the appointment of Tania Hudson as Chief Executive Officer in an interim capacity. She takes over from Paula Rogers, who is stepping down after three very successful years.
Chair Tony Joyner said the appointment of Tania would enable Committee for Perth to continue to build on the momentum achieved over the last few years, notably the recent highly effective 2050 Summit.
“We want to capitalise on the significant energy and goodwill that exists among our members and the broader Perth community,” Tony said. “Appointing Tania as interim CEO will ensure we can do that. Tania is ideal for the role.”

Tania has had a distinguished executive career with Lions Eye Institute, Minderoo Foundation, Rio Tinto and ANZ; most recently she was CEO of the Chamber of Arts and Culture WA.
Tania described leadership of Committee for Perth as a career highlight. “I feel extremely privileged to have this opportunity and am excited to be working with an incredible range of members, an exceptional Board and a dedicated team.
“Perth has been my home for 27 years now, and it is a city that has given me so much – fantastic career opportunities, world-class colleagues, and wonderful family and friends. This role allows me to put my passion into practice, contributing to the future of a place I love.”
Tania’s appointment commences on 1 January 2026, for six months. As the new year progresses, the Board and Tania will consider options for the longer term.
