Kirsten Compton
Kirsten is responsible for undertaking all board and governance processes including managing board meetings, Annual General Meeting, financial audit and the annual report. She is also responsible for day-to-day financial operations and office management including supporting Tania in her role as CEO. Kirsten brings extensive experience as an Executive Assistant across a range of sectors, including education, the arts, media, local government, and has previously run her own business in corporate events.
It was Kirsten’s plan to stop for a month or two in Perth on her way home from travelling Europe and the UK in 2000, but she loved it so much that she never left! Outside of work, Kirsten is a passionate supporter of the creative arts and is sports mad, like most Kiwis! She is a Perth Scorchers member; is excited about being a Perth Bears member and has loved attending the AusCycling Road Nats over the past two summers. She and her husband enjoy travelling overseas, often timing their trips to coincide with major sporting events. More recently, much of Kirsten’s spare time has been spent raising a lively labradoodle puppy and enjoying walks along the coast.
