Kirsten Compton
Kirsten oversees all board and governance functions, including coordinating board meetings, the Annual General Meeting, financial audits, and the annual report. She also manages daily financial operations and office administration, while providing support to Tania in her role as CEO. Kirsten brings a wealth of experience as an Executive Assistant across diverse sectors such as education, the arts, media, and local government, and has previously operated her own corporate events business.
It was Kirsten’s plan to stop for a month or two in Perth on her way home from travelling Europe and the UK in 2000, but she loved it so much that she never left! Outside of work, Kirsten is a passionate supporter of the creative arts and is sports mad, like most Kiwis! She is a Perth Scorchers member; is excited about being a Perth Bears member and has loved attending the AusCycling Road Nats over the past two summers. She and her husband enjoy travelling overseas, often timing their trips to coincide with major sporting events. More recently, much of Kirsten’s spare time has been spent raising a lively labradoodle puppy and enjoying walks along the coast.
