Working Groups
Perth 2050
In November 2024, Committee for Perth, in collaboration with member organisation Scitech, released the Perth 2050 report. Led by futurist Dr Ben Hamer, the report identified 10 key priority focus areas to help shape the best possible future for Perth 2050, and beyond. These priorities were distilled into the ‘Three D’s’: Decarbonisation, (Economic) Diversification and Densification.
To translate these priorities into action, three dedicated working groups were established in June 2025. Each group is tasked with developing practical initiatives that will help guide Perth’s long-term future.
Working Group Members
As an apolitical, future-focused and independent organisation, Committee for Perth draws upon the expertise of its diverse membership, representing over 40 different industry sectors across the Perth region. The goal is to bring together our member’s collective expertise to foster thought leadership and produce a white paper lead to real, practical and achievable impact.
